Access to Member Services
Access to Member Login is provided on the understanding that:
- Member Self Service is provided to allow registered current Policyholders to view and administer their health insurance cover from Vhi Healthcare.
- Policyholders act for all members included on the policy.
- Use for any other purpose is prohibited.
- Vhi Healthcare will endeavour to provide access to the system at the agreed times, but no warranty is given.
- Vhi Healthcare may terminate access to Member login at its own discretion.
- The Policyholder undertakes that, to the best of his/her knowledge and belief, any information provided via Member Login is true and complete.
- Inappropriate use of Member Login will result in access to Member Login being revoked by Vhi Healthcare.
- The information disclosed by Member Login is within the terms of Vhi Healthcare 's registration under the Data Protection Acts 1988 -and 2003 (as amended).
Vhi Healthcare will then provide the Policyholder with a Username and Password, which the Policyholder must provide on request on each occasion the Policyholder accesses Member Login.
(a) Must keep their login details secret;
(b) Must not record their login details in a form or manner which would be intelligible or otherwise accessible to an unauthorised person;
(c)Must notify Vhi Healthcare immediately, should the Policyholder either suspect or become aware that their Login Details become known or available to an unauthorised person.
The customer by agreeing to receive documentation online is confirming to Vhi Healthcare their preference of communication.
All future policy documentation and claims statements will be sent to the customer online only.
Any policy changes or claims that are in progress at the time of the customer changing their documentation preferences will continue down the existing correspondence route.
We will send you Email/SMS alerts informing you of new documents which can be viewed via your inbox. The information contained in these documents is accurate at the time they were issued to you.
Subsequent updates to your policy documentation will be included in the current versions which can be viewed in the policy and claims sections.
Acting on Instructions
The Policyholder authorises Vhi Healthcare to act upon all instructions received in respect of his policy or policies (once accompanied by the appropriate login details) which have been or appear to Vhi Healthcare to have been issued by the Policyholder, without taking any further steps to authenticate such instructions.
Vhi Healthcare will accept instructions from Policyholders 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Instructions will be effected as soon as is reasonably possible.
Vhi Healthcare shall record Instructions received by way of Policy Manager and, in the event of any dispute arising in relation to any instructions or alleged instructions, the record so kept by Vhi Healthcare shall be proof of such instructions or alleged instructions for the purpose of such dispute.
Alteration of the Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions may be altered by Vhi Healthcare at its discretion from time to time and will be altered by Vhi Healthcare to comply with any regulatory directive or to enhance the security of Policy Manager. Any such alteration will be notified to you by a posting an updated version of the terms and conditions on this Website.
Communications between members and Vhi Healthcare via the Ask the Experts service are not encrypted - please do not use these services if this causes you concern.

At Vhi Healthcare we aim to make your contact with us as trouble free as possible. In support of this we are committed to:

Inquiry Officer under the Disability Act
In accordance with Section 39(1) of the Disability Act 2005, Vhi Healthcare has appointed Dermot Maguire as Inquiry Officer.
